A tailored setup starts from a prepared hub and changes what needs changing: the sections, the fields on a card, the wording, the appearance and the way the pages are arranged.
What gets adapted
Six things that change with a tailored setup
Not all of them change on every order. What is worth adapting is agreed before the work begins.
Sections and their names
Sections renamed, merged or split so they match how your departments already talk about the material, rather than a list decided elsewhere.
Card fields
Fields added, removed or reworded: a size note where sizes matter, a placement note where placement matters, nothing that nobody reads.
Appearance
Typefaces, spacing and colour matched to material you already use, so the hub does not look like a stranger next to your own documents.
Usage notes
The written notes rewritten in your own terms, including the ones your team keeps repeating to each other by email.
Grouping by department or file type
A hub arranged the way people look for things: by the team that needs the material, or by the kind of file it is.
The shape of the pages
How many pages there are, what sits on each and how they link together, worked around the environment you intend to publish in.

Please keep confidential material out of it. A hub is built from ordinary business and brand files, and general descriptions are enough to plan the work.
Boundaries
What a setup does not include
Versionelyx does not store, host or back up your material, and does not take charge of it. A hub points at material where you keep it; deciding where that is, and arranging it, stays with you.
There is no login, no account and no permission system. Version labels are written when a material is agreed: they are descriptions, not automated version control, and nothing watches your files or notices when one is replaced.
Versionelyx does not design logos, brands or visual identities, and does not judge whether your material is right. The work is organising and presenting what you already have.
